WARM-UP ROUTINE

Before you start doing anything physical, it’s important to warm up. Warming up your muscles gets them to relax and become more supple. It also increases the overall flow of blood and oxygen to the muscles, ensuring that they are well-nourished throughout the exercise process. This is important if you want your muscles to perform (and you do). At the same time, a warm-up gets your joints ready to move and enjoy a better range of motion. As a result, there’s less risk of injury, and you suffer fewer after-exercise aches and pains (don’t worry – all exercise pains lessen the more you exercise). Warm-ups should only be around five to ten minutes long. Below are four warm-up exercises to do:
